Setting up payouts

So your Dashboard and Menu are all sorted, but the most important question is... How do you get paid?

Read on to learn more about Stripe, our payment processor, and how to complete your setup.


Why do we use Stripe Connect?

Stripe Connect is a powerful set of tools that provides the best possible mobile payment experience to your customers. 

It allows us to route payments between those customers and your business in an extremely reliable manner.

Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1 - the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. 

They provide our platform with best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security.


How do I set up my Stripe Connect account?

Step 1 - Navigate to Payout Settings in your Dashboard

There are two ways to do this:

1. When you log, you'll notice a yellow banner at the top of your Dashboard. Click Fix Now, input your Admin Pin, and you will go to the Payout Settings page.

2. In the navigation bar on the left of the Dashboard, click 'Settings' and then 'Payments'. You will be asked for your Admin Pin, then automatically directed to the Payout Settings page.

Step 2 - Check bank account details are correct

The bank details provided when signing up to Dines are automatically used for Payouts.

Check the last 4 digits of the account number are correct. If they're not, please contact Support (support@dines.co.uk) to change details.

Step 3 - Complete Verification on Stripe

To ensure nothing holds you back from receiving payouts, complete your Stripe verification as soon as possible. 

Setting up a Stripe Connect account is a simple yet secure process that involves an identity check.

The specific KYC (know your customer) information required depends on the type of business entity involved. Find out more here.

Tap 'complete verification on stripe' to be taken to Stripe's onboarding page, within your Dines Dashboard. 

To edit details, click the pencil icon in the top right of the Business Details box. Enter the information required (legal business name and registered address) and click 'save'.

If the details are correct, just hit 'Done' to be taken back to your Dines Dashboard.

Step 4 - Onboarding complete

Once the above steps are complete, you will notice the change in status on the right-hand side of the Payout Settings page:
