Where are reports on my activity?

Dines Reports

The Reports area of your Dashboard provides data to satisfy the most common requests, and all information can be downloaded in CSV format.

You have access to the following information:

Takings - daily activity, wet vs dry sales, sales by category, sales by product, VAT reports.
Payout Statements - weekly and monthly statements for payouts
Invoices - monthly VAT invoices
Marketing - downloadable report containing customer emails captured for marketing

Takings Reports

As we support many different venues in the hospitality and entertainment industries, we have introduced flexible and efficient filtering so you can download Takings Reports that suit your business needs.

Using the two drop-down menus highlighted below, you have complete control over how to organise your data.

Filter by custom dates

Use the custom date selector (the button on the left) to specify when you need to view data from and to.

You can choose standard time periods (eg today, yesterday, this week, last week, etc) or set your own custom dates.

Then just tap 'set date' to display data within that time period.

Filter by data points

You can also easily organise Takings information based on 3 different time-based data points:

Date order was created - the default and most commonly used setting.
Date order was accepted - to be used when a venue receives orders in advance and accepts orders on a different day to when they were received.
Date order was completed - to be used when performance needs to be assessed by the date an order was completed. E.g. if you would like to know which days the most deliveries went out.

Click the data point selector (green button on the right) to display sorting options.

From the drop-down menu, select which you need.

Tap 'Set' to organise your data accordingly.

Now you can see the wording on both buttons (below) has changed based on the selections made. You can easily see at a glance which data is filtered.

When you leave the Reports tab, the data filter will reset automatically to 'This Week' & 'By Order Created'.

Don't forget - you can quickly 'lock' the Reports tab by tapping the icon in the top right.

Daily Activity

See your transactions, sales, service charge, and total activity by day.

Wet vs Dry

See daily sales (before service charges) split into Wet and Dry products.

Sales by Category

See which Product Categories are most popular.

Sales by Product

See how individual products are selling.

You can enable the 'With Modifiers' option to show more information about your best-selling products.

VAT Report

The last report under the Takings tab is a VAT Report.

Here you can quickly see an overview of VAT on products sold within the filtered parameters.
