How do I set up Tipping?

What is Tipping?

With Tipping enabled, customers have the option to choose an amount to add to their order/payment.

It differs from Service Charge as it's voluntary and the option is presented to the customer on the card reader for EPOS transactions or during checkout if ordering online. Reports display Tips as a separate line to Service Charges.

1. Log onto the Dines Partner Dashboard or open the iPad App

2. Navigate to Tipping in Checkout settings, then click New

If using the iPad App, tap Functions > Tipping to access the same settings
