Connecting a Card Reader Automatically

Welcome to your EPOS Dashboard! When first opening the Dashboard, you will be greeted with a prompt in the middle of your screen to connect your Card Reader.

To connect your Card Reader to your device, it takes a few simple steps.

  1. Turn on your Card Reader
  2. Click on Connect Card Reader
  3. You'll now see a Menu in the middle of your screen with the list of available Card Readers you have switched on

4. Simply click on the Card Reader you would like to connect your device to!


Connecting a Card Reader Manually

To connect a Card Reader manually, follow the simple steps below.

  1. Click 'Functions' located at the top of your screen, next to the search bar
  2. In the Functions menu, select 'Choose/Setup Reader Location'

  1. 3. Tap 'Add a new location'

You will then see a pop-up with information required to input a Location

  1. 4. Complete the Location form and tap 'Add Location.

Please note: you must use your Venues full address when creating your Card Reader Locations.

As an example, we will call this Card Reader 'Till 1'. Please remember to also add a valid address to your location

5. You'll now see the Card Reader Locations you have enabled. 

6. Tap 'Functions' to take you back to the menu. From here, select 'Choose/Setup Reader Location':

7. Then choose the Card Reader you would like to connect to this Location

8. You should now see a confirmation that your Card Reader has been successfully connected!
