How do I set up Delivery?
Getting started
Once you have enabled Delivery you can find the Delivery settings in your Dashboard under Settings > Ordering > Delivery
Step 1 - Add postcodes for the areas you can deliver to
Firstly, you add the postcode areas that your venue are able to deliver to. You do this by clicking 'Add new' and filling in the appropriate field. You also have the option to remove any Postcode areas as you please.
Step 2 - Set up Delivery Turnaround Time
For example, if you set your Delivery Turnaround Time to 60 mins, the earliest available collection time will be at least 60 mins from the time of order.
Step 3 - Delivery Time Intervals
Delivery slots default to 15-minute intervals, which means that customers will see Delivery slots that are 15 mins apart. You can increase or decrease this interval by adjusting the setting to allow more or less slots per hour. Intervals must be between 10 and 60 minutes.
Step 4 - Receiving Delivery orders in advance
Use this setting to determine how many days (up to a maximum of 6 days) in advance that Delivery orders can be made. To only allow orders for delivery on the same day, please set to 0.
Step 5 - Adding Delivery Limits
You can now set a 'Soft Limit' and 'Hard Limit' to your deliveries so your customers can be aware of busy periods before placing their order.
Once 'Soft Limit' is reached, it will show the customer that your venues deliveries for a particular time slot is currently busy.
Once 'Hard Limit' is reached, it will show the customer that deliveries for the time slot are unavailable.
Step 6 - Delivery Hours
Use this setting to define the hours during which you offer Delivery services.
